Don Thornton, Founder
Don is the founder and owner of Your20 LLC. He has been on the forward edge of digital transformation and technology in the transportation industry, leading market innovations in rating tools, Freight Matching and Digital Marketing.
Prior to founding Your20, Don was Senior Vice President at DAT Solutions leading sales, marketing, and service. During his tenure Don led technical strategy to build the first Pricing and Analytic benchmarking tools for the industry, growing the company to become the largest freight matching service in the world. Throughout his career he has emphasized relationship building across the industry. He served on the board for Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) for 19 years, and is regularly a keynote speaker/ industry expert/contributor at conferences for the TIA, the American Truckload Association Conference, and has been a contributor for the weekly radio shows for the OOIDA (Owner Operator Independent Driver Association.)
Over a 30 year career, Don has led at the intersection of logistics and technology innovation in roles like General Manager of Lockheed Martin PrePass - the first automated weigh station bypass solution, CTO & VP of Business Development for Market Transport, and as CIO for Freymiller Trucking.
Don received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, Chico and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He was awarded All American honors for Gymnastics while at CSUC.
